George Robert “Bob” Davidson, 77, of Lilburn, GA, passed away Monday, 24 April 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melton and Eunice Davidson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Davidson; and daughter, Sara (Pierce) Herrin.
An alumnus of Mississippi State University and veteran of The United States Army, Bob went on to have a long and successful career in telecommunications, retiring from Avaya in 2001. He was an active member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church, an avid sports enthusiast and memorabilia collector, and had an inquisitive mind that developed countless other hobbies.
The service to celebrate the life of George Davidson will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM, at Lakewood Memorial Park, Jackson, MS.
