I was in school at Carthage with Gustave. I lost track of him after I graduated. But, I remember what a good and courteous person he was. I would like to extend my sympathy to you, his family and friends. I know all of you will miss him dearly.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Gus was a one of a kind and to know him was to love him. He was a great friend to whom all he came in contact with whether it was for a short while or a lifetime. He had a heart of gold for the short time I was around him. (He put a starter on my car one time and didn’t charge me)! I knew Gus through his brother Eddie and I know Eddie looked up to his brother Gus! He’s reunited with Eddie now and they are both just grinning at each other and maybe shooting a little pool! I’m sure all his loved ones have greeted him with open arms and now he will wait in anticipation to reunite with the ones he’s left behind on this Earth. Prayers are lifted for each of you!
With Love,
Rhonda Fauver

I so loved my Uncle Gus! He gave me the first jewelry I remember- he had just returned from Germany. I was just a little girl but I remember the birthstone ring I received. I wore it for years. He was so kind, sweet and good-natured. The world is a sadder place without him. Love you! Rest in peace.
