Preceded in death by his mother, Libbye Waldrip King and father, James A. King. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Veleda Woods King; son, Jeffery King (wife, Traci) and 2 grandchildren, Dillon King and Raegan King.
After retirement, Andy loved his gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He had a strong faith in God and dedication to family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be held 11am (visitation 9-11) May 7, 2015, Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Boulevard, Jackson, MS, with burial immediately following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
