He worked as a maintenance director at Word of Life Church for several years. The past year, he began his own handyman business. Jason, a carpenter by trade, loved building beautiful things out of wood. He was passionate about serving his community and his home church. He would often drop what he was doing to help those in need. In his free time, he enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and gardening. His creativity shone through in his unconventional projects, like installing a ceiling TV controlled by a homemade garage door opener and crafting a stunning kitchen light fixture from reclaimed wood. He had a knack for finding treasures in trash. Jason was a true treasure, and he'll always be remembered fondly.
Jason is survived by his son, Jeremiah Williams; sister, Jennifer Williams (Troy Barker) of Corpus Christi, TX; and brothers, Christopher Williams of Longview, TX, and Matthew Williams of Dallas, TX.
