She was the beloved daughter of the late "Dutch" Fisher and Louise Fischer. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, April Owens, who resides in Batesville, Mississippi, and her sister, Joyce Gatewood. She is also remembered by her grandson, Lane Fischer Owens. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Henry Lee Fischer.
Jeanette was an accountant and trustee for Homer Lynn Oil Company for 29 years, and she finished her career at the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jeanette was actively involved in her community. She was a member of the Mississippi Farmers Market for several years, where she sold her goat's milk soap and watercolors.
Pavilion service will be held at 3:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park. Jeanette will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
