Remembering Jo Ann Ginn
Jo Ann Ginn, 95, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 15, 2026, at Edgewood Nursing Home in Byram, Mississippi, leaving behind a lifetime of love, treasured memories, and a legacy that will live on for generations.
In 1951, Jo Ann married the love of her life, Frank. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and a love that stood the test of time. For nearly 60 years, they walked through life side by side, creating a home where family was always at the heart of everything. Though Frank's passing in 2011 brought an end to their years together on earth, the love they shared remained a cherished part of Jo Ann's story.
To know Jo Ann was to know a woman whose life was guided by her love for the Lord and her devotion to those around her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. Her life was not measured by worldly possessions or grand accomplishments, but by the countless ways she loved, cared for, and touched the lives of others.
Her greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each one a precious part of the legacy she leaves behind. The love she poured into her family will continue through the generations, in the memories they treasure, the lessons she taught, and the love they share with one another.
Jo Ann's faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord dearly and lived that love through kindness, compassion, and a willingness to help others. To those who knew her, she was truly one of God's angels here on earth.
While her family and friends will deeply miss her presence, they find comfort in the faith she held so close and in knowing that a life filled with so much love is a life that will never be forgotten.
If the love of family and friends is the true measure of life's riches, then Jo Ann was the richest woman on earth.
