John P. Buckley, M.D., 82, passed away Saturday May 8, 2010 at Hospice Ministries. Visitation will be 1-2pm Monday May 10, 2010 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson followed by graveside services at Cedarlawn Cemetery at 2:30pm.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and had retired from a long time career as a general practice physician in Jackson. He was a member of Crossview Baptist Church in Brandon.
He is survived by his wife, June Buckley of Brandon; sons, James Buckley of Brandon and John Buckley (Anna) of Friendswood, TX; daughter, Suzanne Holt (Rob) of College Station, TX; grandchildren, Laura, Ryan, Catherine, Mary Katherine, Henry, Watkins, and Audrea; and many other family members.
