John Pearson Clay

John Pearson Clay, 5 months, of Jackson, Mississippi, rejoined our Father in Heaven on Friday, March 28th. He was born on November 6, 2013 at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital where he fought the rare congenital heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was our sweet “Mister” and an angel to all that knew him.

John Pearson leaves behind loving parents, Lauren and Wesley Clay, maternal grandparents, Reed and Teresa Houk, paternal grandparents, Stewart and Malinda Clay, and great-grandparents, Joy Clay and the late Paul Clay, and Dolly Houk and the late Bill Houk.

Visitation will be held at Galloway United Methodist Church on Monday, March 31st at 9:00am, followed by a service at 10:00am. There will be a graveside service that afternoon at Oxford Memorial Cemetery in Oxford, MS at 3:00pm.In lieu of flowers, The Clay family is asking that a donation be made to UM Batson Pediatric Heart with the memo reading, “In Memory of John Pearson Clay”.
