Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00AM at Lakewood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park South.
Jon was born August 11, 1961 in Rankin County. He was preceded in death by his mother Nora Jean Reed. He is survived by his father William Hugh Reed of Jackson; brother William L. (Billy) Reed (Nay) of McCarley, MS; nieces Carrie Reed Cooper (Will) of Oxford and their daughters Olivia and Abigail, Alison Reed Martien (Claude) of Yazoo City and their Daughters, Clair Martien, LynnLee Jean Rushing, and Kyleigh Martien of Monroe, LA.
Jon loved his family, nieces and enjoyed meals with family. Jon lived his entire life in Jackson and enjoyed listening to music. During his early adult life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud riding, cars and drag racing.
