Mrs. June A Bailey

June Ann Lackey Bailey of Clinton, MS died on January 16, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1301 Pinehaven Dr., Clinton, MS 39056, on Friday at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. A private interment will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Lackey; mother, Doris Phillips Lackey; sister, Lois Lackey and son, Jeffrey Whittaker. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her three sons, Thomas Whittaker (Anita), Michael Whittaker (Heidi), Mark Ouellette (Amy); grandchildren, Katie, Kristen, Annelise, Emily, Jenna, and Colton; and 5 great- grandchildren. June graduated from Gardiner High School in 1958 and lived in Gardiner and Sanford Maine areas for many years. She moved to Clinton, MS in 1981. She was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she was active in her church and her faith was important to her. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ. Her family was most important to her and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and spending time with them brought her great happiness.
