Kay and Tommy were my Mom and Dad’s best friends. Kay was there when I was born. I was given her name, as my middle name. I remember as a kid when my Mom, Dad, Kay, and Tommy would hangout, thinking these people are so cool! I thought Kay was a model or movie star because she was so elegant and regal. Tommy had those cool glasses with the colored lenses! My sister’s and I loved it when Mom and Dad wanted to go out with Tommy and Kay because we got to play with their kids, Rick, Diane, Lynne, Jeff, and Randy! We grew up together as family and I will miss my other Mom, Kay. I love all of you, my family. Never forget that!

Working at Hinds General/MMC/CMMC for 26 years, I developed an invaluable friendship with Kay when she worked @ Blue Cross. Kay was a first class lady in every sense of the word and a friend I loved dearly. May God's peace and comfort be with her family. RIP my friend. Barry Newell / Brookhaven MS
