Kay Chisholm Gilmore

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday July 27, 2012 at Plain Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Richland, MS. with visitation from 1:00pm till 2:00pm. Burial will be in the Natchez Trace Cemetery, Madison, MS. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Jackson, MS is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Picayune, and a high school graduate from Picayune High School in 1967, she graduated from Pear River Junior College then she later moved to Hattiesburg to work and attend the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked as a secretary for U.S.M., Baptist Hospital in Jackson and various other State and Federal agencies, and insurance companies.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, L.P. Chisholm and Kathleen Crain Chisholm of Picayune. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years William Rhodes Gilmore II, her sisters, Libby McCraney, Picayune, MS; Nan McClinton, McNeill, MS; Debby Amacker, McNeill, MS; and many loving and devoted nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Adrain Lumpkin, Jr., Mark Necaise, Glenn Amacker, Joey McClinton, Eric Lennep, Wayne Uzel, and Darren Uzel.
