Mrs. Kay Douglas Williams, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26 at 1:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Williams was born in Jackson, MS on December 10, 1937 to the late Howard Eugene and Delma Drane Douglas. She was a member of Pocahontas Baptist Church. One of her greatest pleasures in life was camping and spending time with her late husband and friends at Timberlake Camp Grounds.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Williams and her parents.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons, Doug Williams (Susan), Billy Williams (Shellie), Andy Williams (Cheryl); grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Whitney Williams (Gray), Chase Williams (Hannah); great grandchild, Sadie Williams; special friend and caregiver, Frances Myers; and beloved canine companion, Cocoa .
