Laura Mae Oswald Vail, 85, went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 25, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the 2pm funeral service on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Laura retired as a supervisor from Presto Mfg. after 39 years of loyal service. She was a member of McRaven Rd. Church of Christ and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her grandsons, Steven Vail and Matthew Vail. Survivors include her sons, Danny Vail (Shirley), Johnny Vail (Debra) and Bobby Vail (Janet); daughter, Joyce Lott (Winston); siblings David Oswald (Johnnie), James Oswald (Margaret), Roy Oswald (Gwen), Louise White and Inez Holloway; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family gives special thanks to her friends Ruth Ann and Eva.
