Lisa Dye

Lisa M. Dye, 61, of Ridgeland, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her home. Visitation will be held at The Vineyard Church of Jackson, 5416 Highway 25, Flowood, MS 39232, on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.

Lisa was retired from the State Medical Association. She was certified as an addiction counselor and worked with several local organizations in that capacity, helping hundreds on their road to recovery with her skills, advice, and loving care. Her hobbies included reading, cross stitch, and beading.

She is preceded in death by her parents, I. M. “Bob” and Waudine Cobb Bueno and brother, Manuel Bueno.

Lisa is survived by her sons, Chris Johnston (Sonia) and Robbie Johnston (Delores); sister, Linda Pope (Charles); grandchildren, Anthony, Alainah, and Cantavieja; mother-in-love, Audrey Johnston; and her beloved canine companion, Izzy.
