Lisa Lea Sanders, age 63 of Gluckstadt, MS, left this plane of existence on November 18th, 2025, in Jackson, MS. She was born on February 18th, 1962, to Patricia Tullos and Donald Mahfouz in Batesville, MS.
She later married William C. Sanders, Jr. of Columbus, MS, on September 22nd, 1987, who then preceded her in death on July 5th, 2014. She was a paralegal for over 20 years after graduating from Mississippi University for Women with a major in paralegal studies and a minor in political science.
She is survived by her sister, Gail Whitten of Millington, TN. Her daughter, Leah Brantley of Jackson, MS, and her two sons, William C Sanders 3rd of Gluckstadt, MS, and Austin S. Sanders of New York, New York. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Raina Lee Jefferson and William B. Brantley, both of Gluckstadt, MS.
If you would like to send a memorial, her family collectively agrees she would have liked them put into a fund for her youngest grandchild, William. She was very close with him, and they spent the majority of their time together in her final days.
