Bob was a dear friend. He was kind and generous to a fault. We enjoyed his funny stories. He loved to tell them to make everyone laugh. We have missed him during his illness and will always remember him and his thoughtfulness. We wish we could have attended his funeral, but we are restricted because of our health and the Covid pandemic. Praying for Gennie and family for comfort during this sad time.

He was one of the best bosses I've ever had way back in 1975 when we worked for the City of Jackson Engineering Dept. I'll never forget his quick wit and upbeat attitude, he made working for him a very enjoyable experience!

Rest in peace Mr Abney!
