Lorenzo Neal

Lorenzo Neal was born on February 15, 1954. He received his early education through the Vicksburg Public School System. After graduating, Temple High School also known as Vicksburg High School, he continued his education at Alcorn State University, where he studied Elementary Education. Lorenzo proudly became a part of the legendary Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite Marching Band, where he was a member of the drumline. His love for music and the memories he made during his time at Alcorn remained a special part of his life.

Lorenzo had a true passion for racing, cars, and motorcycles. Whether admiring a beautiful car, enjoying the excitement of racing, or spending time around motorcycles, these were things that brought him happiness throughout his life.

Lorenzo was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. Taylor and Collie Jerry Neal, and his brother, Jerry “Apple” Neal.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Adam Neal, Tasha Neal Griffin of Washington, D.C., and Craig Neal; his three children, Hardis Lorenzo Neal (Bianca) of Forney, Texas, Bridgette Harris (Shedrick) of Jackson, Mississippi, and Shann Clark of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Lorenzo also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will continue to cherish the memories, love, laughter, and legacy he leaves behind.

Lorenzo will be remembered for the life he lived, the people he loved, and the passions that brought him joy. Though he is no longer with us physically, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew and loved him.
