Ms. Lorraine G Bailey

Nelva Lorraine Grice Bailey, 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bailey was born on January 7, 1932 to the late Virgil R. and Leora Pullen Grice. She retired from Life of Georgia Insurance Company after 39 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Clyde “R.C.” Bailey and Bob Hogan; her parents; sister, Charlene Grice Bagwell; and niece, Janie Grice.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her brothers, Osman Grice and Happy T. Grice (Ruth); nephews, Junior Grice (Debbie), John Grice, Mark Grice (Karen), and Kevin Grice; nieces, Kim Faulk (Tony), Ronda Slay (Ken), Amanda Brown (Dale), Ginger Filbert (Robert); and special extended family, Wilson and Joan Hudson and their daughter Kerri Burnside (Barry).
