Mr. Stevens was married to the love of his life, Cheryl Stevens on April 10, 1976. They had 49 years of loving bliss traveling, spending time with family, and in the past few years enjoying his retirement; Louis retired from ADS Drainage Systems in Jackson, MS, as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Stevens enjoyed garage selling with his wife and sister, an enjoyment that was passed down from his parents.
Mr. Stevens was an avid fisherman, taking pride with his Bass Cat during many tournaments. A devoted past member of the Jackson Bass Club, there was not many bodies of water in Mississippi he could not find a great fishing hole, looking for that large bass.
Mr. Stevens is survived by his wife Cheryl Stevens, brother Glen Stevens (Dyann) of Kansas City MO; sister LaRue Wadford (Johnny) of Brandon MS; sister-in-law Carolyn Bridges (Scott) of Brandon MS; four nephews, one niece, and one great niece.
A visitation for Louis will be held Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Monday, May 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Louis will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Park.
