Lynda Carol (Posey) Song, 79, of Clinton, Mississippi, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born January 18, 1947, in Meridian, Mississippi, Lynda was a beloved and cherished presence whose compassion and steady devotion to others shaped the lives of those who knew her.
Lynda graduated from Meridian High School and went on to build a long and successful career as a Clinical at RenaLabs. Through years of hard work and commitment, she earned the respect of colleagues and the gratitude of many who benefited from her care.
Those closest to Lynda will remember a woman of warmth and generosity—someone who never met a stranger and who met life with strength, even in difficult seasons. She brought lightness and energy wherever she went, often becoming the center of the room simply by being herself. Her creativity found expression in painting, drawing, and writing poems, and her care for others was evident in the simple, faithful ways she shared her time—cooking, baking for others, playing cards, and enjoying movies with family and friends.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. Posey and Mary Lucille Posey, and her brother, James Posey. She is survived by her daughters, Monica Henson of Flowood, Mississippi, and Misty Anderson of Ragland, Alabama; her son, Mark Reece of Clinton, Mississippi; and her sisters, Wanda Posey Sullivan of Brandon, Mississippi, Phyllis Posey of Brandon, Mississippi, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
