Mr. Horton was born on August 4, 1929 in Madden, MS to the late Mack Horton and Estha Hardage. He was a resident of Clinton, MS for the past 58 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris F. Posey. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Yarbrough, of Raymond and Becky Miles (Ed) of Brandon; sons, Robert Horton (Janie) of Richland and Gary Horton (Tressa) of Madison; brother, George Horton of Pearl; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home. A pavilion service will follow at 1:00 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park.
