Mary Kathleen Patterson

Mary Kathleen Hannaford Patterson, 93, of Jackson, died May 8, 2013 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS.  She was born December 21, 1919 in Pittsboro, MS, the daughter of Henry W. and Dot Ligon Hannaford.  She graduated from Pittsboro High School and attended Blue Mountain College.  She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for several years, the Seekers Sunday School Class, and the Camenae Club.Graveside services will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Pittsboro Cemetery in Pittsboro.  Dr. Chuck Hannaford will officiate.  Wright Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of the arrangements.   Pallbearers will be her nephews.Survivors include one brother, Robert Hannaford of Derma; one sister, Dorothy H. Dantone of Clinton; a host of nephews and nieces, and a special great nephew, Wesley Hannaford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry W. and Dot Ligon Hannaford, her husband, William Russell Patterson; one sister, Ruby Nelle Barnett; three brothers, Ligon Hannaford, Thomas Hannaford, and Charles Hannaford, Sr.
