Mattie Lynn Warren

Ms. Mattie Lynn Flynn Warren, 66, died Sunday March 9, 2014 at her residence in Ridgeland, Ms. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 AM. A native of Jackson in Hinds County, Ms., Lynn had lived in the Jackson area most of her life. She was a former employee with the Mississippi State Legislature, Girl Scouts and was a teaching assistant for many years caring for special needs students. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her brother, Robert A. Flynn of Indianapolis, Ind.; her son, Lincoln Warren of Rockwall, Tx.;her daughters, Jennifer Gunn of Brandon and Carrie Bland (Tyler) of Richland; and eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Cir, Jackson, MS 39206.
