Mrs. Mickey Newton, 75, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 5-8PM and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM. A graveside service will be on Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Park at 10:30 AM.
For many years, Mrs. Newton worked in the medical field and for the past several years of her career she has worked at Cook Lawn and Pest Service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Murphy, Sr. and Bennie Shields Murphy and one brother Thomas Murphy, Jr.
Mrs. Newton is survived by her husband, Clarence Newton; son, David Newton (Ann); daughter, Linda Brown; grandchildren, Jacob Newton (Jessica), Kyle Newton, Reid Newton, Lindsey Brown.
