Nancy Wilcox Allgood

away peacefully on May 1 with family members

by her side. She was born to the late L.J. and

Lorena Wilcox, Jan. 09, 1942, in Meridian , MS.

Nancy graduated from Provine High School in

1960 and attended Mississippi College as an

Art Major. She married J.Kelly Allgood in 1962

They lived together in several locations,

including Dahlgren, VA, Biloxi, MS, Birmingham,

AL,and Jackson, MS. before settling permanently

in Jackson. She was an avid tennis player, and

spent many afternoons over the years on the

tennis courts with her friends. She enjoyed hiking,

walking, and travelling with her husband.

Nancy is survived by her husband, J Kelly Allgood,

and three children: Tracy Miller of Gadsden, AL.;

Wendy Cole of Jackson, MS; and Kevin Allgood

of Austin, TX. She is also survived by five

grandchildren, Barr, Jake and Anne Caroline Miller,

and Patrick and Parker Cole.

Visitation will be Monday, 11 AM-1PM May 5,

at First Baptist of Jackson, 431 N. State Street,

Jackson MS 39201. Funeral to follow In FBC

Chapel at 1 PM.
