Mrs. Nedra Ray Oswalt

BYRAM, MS

Mrs. Nedra Oswalt, 83, died September 28, 2010 at Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, October 1, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Jackson with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 PM and Friday from 9-10 AM at Baldwin-Lee.

Mrs. Oswalt was a retired Personnel Manager for Woolworth’s Department Store for a number of years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Rena Ray; brother, Floyd Ray, Jr.; sister, Martha Jenkins and Bettye Tucker.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Elton Oswalt of Byram; sons, Ray Oswalt (Donna) of Cold Springs, TX and Randy Oswalt (Joann) of Byram; sisters, Jimmie Smith of Starkville, June Cooper of Jackson and Linda Bonney of Long Beach, MS; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
