Neomia Langley, 89, passed away on July 15, 2026. Born on August 4, 1936, Neomia was a beloved and cherished presence whose steady honesty and kind-hearted spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her. A resident of Flora, Mississippi, she will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on July 20, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., at 11:00 am.
Neomia is survived by her daughters, Shelia Currie and Rita Clark (Jerry); her granddaughters, Bridgette Palmer (Justin) and Jennifer Gardner (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Braxton, Avery, and Finely.
Neomia’s life was defined by quiet strength, sincere care for others, and a gracious way of making people feel seen and valued. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
