Pamela Ann Oliver Stowers of Madison, passed away onThursday August 10th, 2023, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Pam was born March 15, 1947, in San Saba, TX to the late Owen Orville Oliver and Marie Myers Oliver.
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in English from Mississippi University for Women, and a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Mississippi. Pam worked as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice for over 35 years.
Survivors include her husband, Elton Ronald Stowers; her son, Michael Hunter Stowers (Sarah) of Madison, MS; twin grandsons, Henry Coleman Stowers and Jackson Hunter Stowers; and granddaughter, Susannah Milling Stowers all of Madison; her sisters, Sharon Oliver Benthall (Larry) of Houston, TX and Melanie Oliver Brinkley (Rick) of Conroe, TX.; three nephews, and one great-nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Webster Animal Shelter in Madison.
A private, family service will be held Sunday August 20, 2023.
