

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Phillip “Tiny” Lawrence announces his passing. Tiny passed away September 27, 2025 at 78 years of age.
He was a Jackson native born to Phillip, Sr. and Sue W. Lawrence.
He had a wonderful work ethic and had worked at International Co., Jackson Mack, and Cal-Maine foods as a diesel mechanic.
Tiny was an unbelievable family man. He was always a source of support and strength. Anyone who knew Tiny knew that he was the most loving husband and father a family could ask for.
He loved his wife Pat and the life they shared together, including their countless camping trips with their Daisy.
He loved his children and his grandchildren. He always had an encouraging word and the answer to whatever question they had for him.
Tiny was a devoted follower of Christ and a member of Highpointe Baptist Church in Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tiny is survived by his wife of 37 years Patricia “Pat” Lawrence; his children: Chris Lawrence (Janeth), Scott Lawrence (Nicole), Shelley L. Nelson (Steven); bonus children: Thomas Stubblefield (Bethany), Todd Stubblefield (Dawn), and Shelly S. Eichwurtzle and special friend Marc Byrd. Brothers: Robert W. (Beba) & Richard T. (Lynn) Lawrence.
Also survived by 18 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd. Jackson, MS, Thursday at 1:00 for family, 1:30 until 3:00 for others, and then a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnels 2 Towers (T2T.org and include the name Jason Scott Lawrence).
