Visitation is 10:00-11:30am Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Lake.
Mr. Gatewood was a long-time member of McDowell Road Baptist Church and at the time of his death, a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Jackson. He retired from office machinery repair after a 20 year career.
He was preceded in death by his father, O.R. Gatewood, Sr. and 1 niece.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Katherine Gatewood; brother, Larry Gatewood; sister, Susan Perkins; 2 nieces and 4 nephews.
