Mr. Raymond C. Butz

Raymond Butz, 86, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home in Brandon. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow.

Mr. Butz was born on June 4, 1934 to the late Kurt and Emilie Boyd Butz. He was a devout, lifetime Catholic and was a current parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church. He proudly served as a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus- Bishop Brunini Assembly 2269. He was a member of the church choir and very involved in many other aspects of the church. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marigrace “Patty” Butz; sons, Raymond Butz, Jr., John Butz and Matt Butz; sister, Virginia “Ginny” O’Neil; and brothers-in law, Eddie O’Neil and Jim Finneran.

Mr. Butz is survived by his sons, Kurt Butz (Kristin) and Kenneth Butz (Lisa); spouse, Marcia Butz; sister-in law, Phyllis Finneran; grandchildren, Liesel, Jaret, Cody and Rebecca Butz; one great grandson, Dominic, and a great granddaughter, Brewster, on the way.
