Robert A Hammock

Robert Andrew Hammock went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was 85 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for a graveside service on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Flora Cemetery.

Robert was born on January 9, 1941, to Robert Cline Hammack and Vera Hammack, in Flora, MS. He joined the Marine Corps after high school and spent 2 years in the service. After the Marine Corps, he went to work for Bell South for 35 years.

Robert met his wife, Patsy, in high school, and in July 1961, they married. In April of 1969, they had their only daughter, Reagan Hammock Mullins, who they loved dearly.

Robert was not only a loving father but also a devoted grandfather. He loved his two granddaughters, Anna and Kaitlyn, dearly. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He also loved his nieces and nephews, who called him "Uncle Brother".

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Vera; father, Robert; wife, Patsy; and his four sisters, Opal Lucille Wilson, Mary Catherine Hammack, Alice Koger, and Mildred Ann Herskind.

He is survived by his daughter Reagan Mullins (Marvin "Bubba"), two granddaughters, Anna Sheffield (Alex) and Kaitlyn Reed (Christopher); and his brother Billy Hammack (Donnie).
