Ms. Edwards was born in Memphis, TN on April 27th, 1937 to F.L. Edwards and Nancy Bates Edwards. She grew up In Mathiston, MS and graduated from Mathiston High School in 1954. She worked for many years as a long term caregiver in the Birmingham area.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter-in-law, Angie Steadman. She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Terri) Steadman, of Crestview, FL and Tommy (Pam) Steadman of Clinton, MS. Grandchildren, Tom (Jamie) Steadman, Jon (Jennifer) Steadman, David Steadman, Alison Steadman and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 27th 10:00 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will be at Spring Valley Cemetery In Mathiston at 4:00 p.m.
