Sarah Hamilton Knight

UTICA- Sarah Hamilton Knight, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went home to be with her heavenly Father on August 4, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 11:00 in the Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Knight, Sr., daughter Brenda Sauls, mother Leta Mae Hamilton, father William Hamilton, brother Matthew Paul, sisters Alma Whitley, Jean Hoosier, and Mable Johnson. Her surviving siblings are Bill Hamilton and Mildred Lewis. Sarah and husband John were the parents of eight children: four sons and four daughters. Children are Leta Knight Fuller (Dennis), Brenda Knight Sauls, Linda Knight Frix, Mack Knight (Judy), Paula Knight, Johnny Knight, Jr., Roger Knight, and James Knight (Mickie). Sarah was loved by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law, and sons-in-law.

I met her about 1988,I was married to her grandson Preston,and had 2 of her great-grandchildren,John Jr. & Zach Knight. She was one of the strongest and most respected woman I ever knew...Love her
