When my husband David Mitchell’s only and older sister passed away Easter weekend 2009, at the age of 42, Selby was only 21 years old! David and I sorta “adopted” Selby in a supportive-type capacity. Selby at age 21 truly believed he was all grown up and could handle the situation and we were there to assist in anyway he would allow us. David and I were living on the Pearl River before moving to our home in Ridgeland. Selby would often visit which we enjoyed immensely. David had been an active male figure in Selby’s life from birth! Lisa Mitchell Kersh and David were extremely close, being less than 2 years apart. David and I embraced Selby along life’s path to the best of our ability. The last 2 months I called Selby daily and he would share his goin’ ons! David and I love Selby with ALL OUR HEART and we will miss him deeply! Rest In Peace, sweet Selby Cronen
