Stephen served in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected a steady sense of duty and commitment.
In his working years, Stephen retired from Bellsouth as a Service Technician. He also spent time truck driving, bringing the same practical skill and reliability to the road that he carried throughout his career.
Outside of work, Stephen found enjoyment in riding motorcycles and working on vehicles, drawn to the hands-on satisfaction of fixing, improving, and keeping things running. He was also known to flirt with women, a lighthearted part of his personality that many will remember with a knowing smile.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, M.W. Miller and Jimmie Lee Stanley Miller and sister, Marion Miller. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Austin Miller and Michael West Miller; brother, Richard H. Morris; sisters, Debra McManus and Von Hupperich; grandchildren, Austin Miller,Weston Miller, Heath Miller, Ivy Miller and Shannon Rhodes; great-grandchild, Liam Rhodes.
