Thomas H. Everett Jr.

T.H. (“T”) Everett passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Hospice Ministries. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 9,2013 at 11:00am from the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Jackson, MS visitation will be Wednesday May 8, 2013 from 5:00pm till 7:00pm and Thursday from 10:00am till service time. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Everett was born in Jackson, MS July 6, 1924 to Maude Glaze and Thomas H. Everett, both now deceased. Educated in Jackson Public Schools. He was self-employed as a watchmaker/jeweler throughout the Jackson area, retiring from Gordon Jewelers. He was an avid golfer and a long- time member of Brookwood Country Club.

Survivors include his wife to whom he was married for 57 years, Vera Dukes Everett, a son, Thomas H. Everett, III and wife Martha. , grandchildren: Tracy Brannon and Paige Simmons, five great -grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, a niece, Cindy Everett Wrigley, nephews, Kenny Everett, Harold (Bubba) Everett, Jr.,Linn Everett, Steven Everett. Special long-time friends: Lena Causey, Bill and Anne Marie Loveless, and George French. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold G. Everett.

To those who loved him most, we can be consoled by the knowledge that we are better for having known him, and that he is now in a place where the fairways are lush and green and the sun always shines and the putts always drop.
