Mrs. Valda C. Hardy, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her home in Flora. Private services were held at Lakewood Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Hardy; daughter, Twylia Beth Reid; parents, Lionell and Bonnie Hammond Craft. Mrs. Hardy is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Fortenberry (Newton) and Dee Ann Rome (Thom); sister, Gayle Sparks; grandchildren, Jamie Fortenberry (Kim), Breanné Johnston (Jason), Chase Smith (Cortney); great grandchildren, Kate and Andrew Fortenberry, Cooper Johnston, Austyn and Danica Smith and special friends, Warren Robinson and Dot Lancaster In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison ARK at madisonark.org.
