Valery Thomas Miller, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Monday at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Miller was born on September 23, 1939 in Moss Point, MS to the late Valery Everett and Lurette Furby Miller. He worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist at UMC.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Lee Bounds Miller; brother, John Miller (Mary) and their children, Audra, Laura, Rita, and Brian; stepdaughter, Jana Lynn McKenzie; stepgrandsons, Dale Morgan, Jr. and Mac Morgan; and 2 step great-grandchildren.
