Mr. Berry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He graduated from the University of Georgia with an engineering degree. Mr. Berry worked for Anaconda and later retired from Magnatech.
He was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church. His parents, Louise Stovall and Arthur William Berry, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie K. Berry; children: Mike (Becky) Berry, Ken (Lynn) Berry, Melinda (Bim) Bell, Art (Alexandria) Berry, Nancy Matolay, Tabitha (Chris) Batton, Donna Adkinson, and Dianne (Robert) Taylor; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. An online guestbook may be viewed at lakewoodfuneralhomes.com.
