William "Bill" Cade, Jr.

Mr. William “Bill” Cade, Jr., 69, passed away at St. Dominic Hospital, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Bill was born on September 20, 1946 to the late William Pelham Cade, Sr. and Irene Sims Cade. He served in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968 as a communication and relay center equipment repair man. He graduated from Central High in 1964 and still enjoyed attending reunions and events with his classmates. He attended Hinds Community College where he received a degree in Applied Science. Bill was also an avid fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and step-father, James Manning.

Bill is survived by his wife, Karen K Cade; sons, William Shane Cade (Sandy) and Kelly P. Cade (Bridgett); and grandchildren, Austin Busby, Cera Brooke, Presley, Isabella, and Coleman Cade.
