Woodven “Woody” McCullough, 82, passed away on November 30, 2015. Woody was born on November 13, 1933 to the late, J.U. and Clara Belle Jackson McCullough. Woody was an active member of Flag Chapel Baptist Church for over 40 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, December 3rd from 10-11 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park South on McCluer Road in Jackson.
Woody was preceded in death by his wife, Marie B. McCullough; his daughters, Judy Carol McCullough and Stephanie McCullough; his brothers, Walter G. McCullough and Buddy McCullough; and his sisters, Melba Gerrard and Geneva Smith.
Woody is survived by his son, Woody McCullough (Janice) of Ridgeland, MS; his daughters, Pattie McCullough of Greenwood, MS, Angela Adcock of Crystal Springs, MS, Pam Thompson (David) of Lake Charles, LA, and Darlene Morgan (Danny) of Pearl, MS; his brother, J.V. McCullough (Wanda) of Flora, MS; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
