Alan Davenport Ormerod

Mr. Alan D Ormerod, 74, of Jackson passed from this life July,18th, 2010. A funeral Mass will be held at St Mary's School Cafeteria on Thursday July 22nd at 10:00 A.M.

He is survived by his wife Mrs.Barbara Voelker Ormerod of Jackson, 3 Sons: Alan Michael Ormerod of Jackson, Steven Ormerod of Lake Mary, Fla, and Robert Ormerod of Jackson.

Mr. Ormerod was born on March, 14th 1936, in Philadelphia, Penn. to the late Harry,and Hester Davenport Ormerod. He was educated, and graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and retired from ITT Corporation where he was a Manufacturing Engineer. He was devoted to his church,and was a member of the Knights Of Columbus where he served as treasurer for many years.

Other than his wife and children, he is also survived by his 8 Grand Children

Serena, Kaitlin,Jacob, Ryan, Luke, Zac, Sammie and Christopher as well as a host of other relatives and friends

Visitation for Mr.Ormerod will be held on Wednesday July 21,2010 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm with the Rosary starting at 7:00 pm at the George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel.

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions are to be made to the Knights of Columbus Chapter 1101, P. O. Box 1101 Jackson, Tn 38302
