She was born on May 4, 1976 in Jackson, Tennessee to Mary Ann Grimm Mitchell and the late John Thomas Mitchell. Alisa was a dedicated cafeteria worker at Crockett County Middle School, where she was known for her kind heart and warm smile. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, proud mother, and caring sister who treasured time spent with her family above all else.
She is survived by her husband, Brian McDavid; her children, Keirsten McDavid, John McDavid and Brianna McDavid; her mother, Mary Grimm Mitchell; and her sister, Kathryn Mitchell Johnson (Kevin).
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. A committal service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery on Monday.
The family requests that memorials in Alisa’s memory be directed to the Crockett County High School Band or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Alisa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
