Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel, with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
She was born on April 12th, 1920 in Amory, MS to the late Roy Armstrong and Ruth Bowlin. Mrs. Williams was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and a Surgical Nurse at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Williams of Stockton Springs, ME; a son, David Williams (Peggy) of Warner Robins, GA; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Williams; a daughter, Sonia Clifft and numerous siblings.
A visitation for Mrs. Williams will be held on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel.
