Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with entombment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mrs. Emerson was born on September 16, 2014 to the late John Robertson, and Bessie Johns Brinkley in Lavinia, TN. For many years she was a seamstress for Oakley Fashion and married to Johnny Franklin Emerson for almost 68 years.
Other than her husband she is also survived by 1 daughter; Mary Ann Price (Larry), 2 Sons; Travis Emerson (Vickie), and Donald Emerson (Cathy), 6 grandchildren; Russell, Eric, Michael, Amy, Joseph, Brandon and 9 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Emerson was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
