Annette Rushing McNeal

Funeral services for Annette will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11 a.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Bro. Robert Morgan. Burial will follow in Rushing Cemetery on Rushmeade Road in Jackson.

Pallbearers to serve will be Wayne Rushing, Steve Rushing, Larry Bell, Randy Coleman, Joe Chadwick and Danny Wheeler.

Mrs. McNeal was born on January 15, 1925 in Madison County, TN to the late Neal and Carrie Walker Rushing. She married Paul "Pete" McNeal in November 1946 and they were married up until his death in 2000. She worked for Hollands Department Store as the manager for over 20 years. She was a member of Poplar Heights Baptist Church and she was a graduate of Pope High School class of 1943.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Wilson and a brother, Richard Rushing.

She is survived by one sister, Nancy Rushing Williams of Jackson, TN; three brothers, Dan Rushing (Bettye), Chester (Pat) Rushing, and Jimmy (Barbara) Rushing, all of Jackson, TN.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 5-7 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
