Barbara Ann Ramey

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and aunt to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ramey; two sons, Terry Ramey and Jimmy Ramey; a grandson, Daniel Ramey; two great grandsons, Jaylen Morris, and Tyler Frenn; one great granddaughter, Zoey Short; her mother, Opal Gardner; her father, Thomas Hogue; and her brother, Johnny Hogue.

She leaves behind four sons, Billy C. Ramey (Sue Ann), Bobby Ramey (Melissa), Tommy Ramey, and Randall Ramey (Chelsea); she also leaves behind three daughters, Kelly Benson (Clarence), Tracy Haywood, and Lisa Plunk (Jimmy). She had many grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was loved daily by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. 


The funeral service is to be conducted at 3 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Interment will follow at 5 p.m. at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Rutherford, TN.
