Billie Sue Goff, 82, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018. She joins her husband of 45 years, John Ralph Goff, who passed away in 1996. Mrs. Goff is survived by her son, Ken Goff and wife Tamara of Memphis, Tennessee and three grandchildren, Granville Goff and wife Missy Kieffer of Portland, Oregon; Annalise Goff of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Ronan Goff of Memphis. Other survivors in Jackson include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda McMahan and husband Michael, and Barbara Jones and husband Max. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Willie Moody of Jackson, and her brother Gerald Moody of Saltillo, Tennessee. Mrs. Goff worked at The Toy Factory and later retired from Quaker Oats after over 25 years of service. She was an active retiree and avid traveler, visiting over fifteen different countries and most of the United States in her later years. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 25 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home North Chapel, 2812 North Highland, Jackson. Visitation with the family will also be held on Monday, March 26 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am in the North Chapel. Interment immediately following at Highland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Goff’s honor may be sent to Hospice of West Tennessee in Jackson, Tennessee.
